Dr Michael Roberts

Dr Roberts was amazing when I was under his care, going through a procedure which I was emotional he relaxed me with gently putting his hand on mine I felt comfortable, but more so when I was in recovery he was there to see how I was. Fantastic Doctor, will never forget his comfort and dedication every day to come and see how I was recovering.

I've been under Dr Roberts care for last two months, he has been amazing with the care iv received, taking time to see how I was recovering every day. The treatment iv got from him was so respiring and made me feel so comfortable especially being in for four weeks. Fantastic doctor, when I was in theatre and emotional he just had to take my hand and made me feel in control.

Dr Roberts is to the point and does not mess around. He told us exactly what was wrong, what could go wrong with surgery and what was going to happen post surgery. Really appreciated his direct, honest approach. If something had have happened we didn't expect, I would have been upset. My sons surgery was successful and he has a new lease on life thanks to Dr Roberts and his teams skill

Yes I would recommend Dr. Roberts who took the time to explain what was going on with my issue and also made it clear to me what was required to put it right. Yes I trust Dr. Roberts and his staff to do everything possible to make there patients treatment the best available. Yes Dr. Roberts and all the staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital listen to my concerns to ensure I was fully relaxed for going into the operating theatre.

Attended Dr Roberts surgery with my mother, she is elderly and she does have heart problems without a doubt but to have the unprofessional and extremely blunt manner he told my mother she was a "ticking time bomb", as you can imagine that her spirt had been broken, she now thinks she's dying which is scaring her, there was definitely a better way round this and she doesn't need to feel like this, I'm only sorry she didn't get a more caring doctor.
