Mr Michael Pellen

I was referred to Mr Pellen by my GP as I have been suffering on and off with stomach pains for many years and my GP finally persuaded me that I might benefit from a Hernia Repair operation. If it helps other patients to gain an overview of Mr Pellen I can say that he is a friendly chap with a reassuring bedside manner. We chatted through my situation and agreed that I should have a Hernia Repair operation, and was booked in for the procedure at a time to suit my work commitments. The operation went well and my recovery was exactly as Mr Pellen had explained that it would be. However the really good news is that after suffering with stomach pains for around 30 years they have now gone completely. My hearty thanks to Mr. Pellen and I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team for any surgical work in his areas of expertise. Kind regards, Keith Lorimer.

I would like to thank Mike Pellan for been there at the right time when I needed my gallbladder taking out What A Man a pleasure to have met such a great guy this review is the day after my operation after weeks of torment and despair I feel wonderful and it can only get better when I was leaving hospital I got in the lift and Mr Pellan was already in probably up and down looking after and caring for other patients puts the great in the NHS All the staff on ward wonderful caring humorous Kenny Lenney

Mr M Pellen put me at ease on my first meeting with him. And listened to me and my problem, it has been on going for years, on listening to his advice and caution , I had an operation in 5 months of first seeing him, the out come could not have been good, but with my family's support I went ahead, I was booked in for 6 days, I have to say every thing went well and was out the next day much to the relief of my family, and I recovered well at home with there care and many friends, every one was amazing, The care I received on each of my visits was wonderful and now I have been given a new lease of life and at 77 years of age that is some thing I did not expect, I feel absolutely amazing, compered to my last few years, and to think I could have been better many years ago. I heard some ladies on the ward complaining of the staff and the care they were getting, they should have been ashamed of them selves. I had first class care from Mr M Pellen and all his team. I have to say it was me that instigated seeing Mr M Pellen not my Doctor I was told the letter what came Hospital said was nothing untoward . my health deserved more than that. I want to a big thank you to all the staff and team Thank you Yours Very Sincerely Mrs Maureen Shore

He explained everything to me when I needed my gall bladder removed and was very efficient and re assured me has I was very nervous of the operation. I recovered very quickly afterwards and there are hardly any scarring after the operation. Would highly recommend him.
