From the first consultation, I found Mr Pellan to be courteous, attentive and informative , he put me at ease and explained everything in detail. and I always felt reassured that I was in good hands. From the moment I met Mr Pellen I felt at ease. He is outstanding in his field of work and this is why I chose him for a Laparascopic Cholecystectomy at Spire. Before my procedure he explained everything in great detail along with any risks. Afterwards, he came to see me on the ward, he made me feel like a person and not just a 'patient'. My scars are super tidy and pain is already getting better. I'm only 1 day post op. Thank you again Mr Pellen for giving me my life back!

Dr Pellen is an outstanding doctor never have I felt so safe in a doctors care. I have had surgery completed by Dr Pellen both privately and through the NHS. Dr Pellen is patient, compassionate and genuinely cares about his patients - going through every step of the process thoroughly and ensuring I was happy and felt reassured both prior and after surgery. One of a kind type of Doctor who goes above and beyond - anybody who is fortunate enough to be under his care will say same! Mr Pellen treated me for an incisional hernia via laparoscopic surgery. He was involved with the initial diagnosis and the decisions to be made as to the surgical options. He also carried out the operation itself. I can only say that I feel fortunate to have been referred to such a professional, competent and empathetic doctor. He took the time involved to explain potential alternatives in detail, and addressed all of my concerns and questions with great understanding and patience. On a personal level, he was very reassuring and confidence-inspiring, and I’m very grateful for the treatment I have received.

Mr Pelham listened to my problem including concerns. He explained exactly what he would do during the surgery. He answered all questions both my husband and myself had, which was very reassuring . I saw him post op and for my out patient check up. I am delighted with the way the whole process was for my surgical outcome, especially as my case was unusual. He is approachable and professional.
