I was referred to Mr Michael Pellen recently as I had an inguinal hernia that required repair.
From the first consultation, through the surgical procedure to the follow consultation last week I could not have been more pleased with the treatment I received under his care.
Due to earlier abdominal surgery he explained at the outset that a laparoscopic procedure may be impossible and an open repair might be required. In the event by using alternative techniques he was able to perform the repair laparoscopically.
My recovery was uneventful, I did not even need to take one painkiller (not even a paracetamol) there was virtually no bruising and only some very manageable discomfort.
I would highly recommend Mr Pellen to anyone requiring hernia surgery.
