This was the 2nd time I have been seen by Dr Kim, whilst working in London. He is a kind, committed and approachable doctor. Highly recommended. The waiting time for results can certainly be improved. I recall I waited around 4 or 5 hours for results after the CT scan. Until this country gets the population growth under control NHS services waiting times will only get worse unfortunately. Not enough tax funds available to invest in infrastructure to serve the NHS. No criticism on the Royal London, just an overload of NHS services without appropriate planning by previous and current governments and the EU.

A great clinician, very calming and reassuring. Listened carefully, let me say what I wanted, explained clearly his thinking, what was going to happen next and when a porter wasn’t available even wheeled me to x-ray for CT to keep the process rolling. When I came ou5 of CT, my trolley was parked away from reception and they couldn’t find me (turns out rubbish phone reception meant a lot of missed calls when I did get a signal), but it was Michael that found me! He then let me know my diagnosis (DVT with PE), again very calmly and explained what was the n3xtvstepbfrom here. I couldn’t ask for more, his care was exemplary, especially in a very busy A&E where he clearly having to multitask and organise other clinicians (a HEMS call came in whilst I was being seen by him), but he was very apologetic (definitely not needed!) and didn’t let this distract from his care for me. Really impressed. A great service indeed from all at the RLH.

An excellent doctor who explained everything thoroughly, took into consideration patient's concerns and request and even pushed the wheeled stretcher with me when help was not readily available.
