Dr Haugh takes time to understand my problems, I never feel that he is in a rush to see his next patient, in each appointment in which I have seen him in the past two years he has always listened attentively and offered good advice and made sure he obtained the necessary hospital appointments to be able to diagnose my problems.

I have been a patient of Dr Haugh for a number of years now, I think for at least 18 years and possibly longer. During that time, I have had to consult him on a number of issues. These have related principally to arthritis. I also suffer from atrial fibrilation and had to consult him recently due a personal sexual matter. Throughout this period, I have also had to consult Dr Haugh about issues arising from the loss of my wife from cancer and to problems arising from my former employment. Over the last ten years I have had four operations arising from my arthritis and I am waiting for major surgery on my spine. As a result of this and my atrial fibrilation I have had to consult Dr Haugh in respect of pain relief and the monitoring and control via medication of my heartbeat. When I go to see Dr Haugh, I feel that he knows me and my difficulties. I feel that he is understanding, wholly professional while being warm and friendly towards me and offers the best advice. I have sometimes felt a bit guilty when I have asked to have certain things checked out, but his response has always reassured me that I was generally wise to at least ask the right questions. His 'deskside' manner with me, even with what must be a very busy and stressful workload, has been that I feel I am being offered the best care and the most appropriate options available. In all honesty, I do not have any reservations about Dr Haugh. If I had, he would not be my GP.

Dr. Haugh is very good listener, you never feel like you're wasting his time, or that your problems aren't serious enough to warrant a visit to your GP. He explains things very well, and generally puts you at ease with your concerns. He doesn't (obviously) rush you, and does what he says he's going to do.

Dr Haugh is a very experienced doctor who has an easy manner and very approachable. HE Is the best doctor we have ever had, we have a variety of age related problems but the doctor is able to deal with them expertly, i have utmost confidence in him and just hope he does not retire before my time iis up. So far we have been able to get appointments with him these are early morning which suits my wife and I.
