Dr Mike Donnan has always been there for me. In my darkest times without judgement. He is there. He is proactive, caring and for me and my husband a life saver. Shirley Avenue will never quite be the same. A great loss to his patients. I wish him with all my heart a well deserved retirement with endless good health and happiness.

DR.Donnan has been my doctor for over 20 years.He has always given me the best care over all these years.I had a bad time at work and had to be signed off because of stress he was so understanding during this time.I am sad that he is not a partner at Shirley Ave Surgery but will be locum.I certainly will ask to see him when he is at the surgery covering for holidays or sickness.There is certainly going to be big shoes to fill.

Dr Donnan is absolutely amazing from the moment the consultation begins. He has always made me feel important, that he has time for you and he understands you're struggles and health concerns. He is proactive, supportive and gets stuff done. I have been through cancer twice and at evevy point he has been there. Nothing is any trouble. When he says he ring you. He does. When he fast tracks something. He does. He is always there for me. I am blessed. I wouldn't want any other doctor ever.

I would like to thank you Doctor Donnan for giving me the best care, getting my asthma under control after many years of my previous doctor ‘fobbing’ me off with ventolin. My long term health issues are under complete control bd this is down you being under your care. The practice is run with care no efficiency. I hope it does not change so we become nothing more than NHS number Thank you

I have only been with Doctor Donnan for a year or so since my wife convinced me to have the same GP as her. He is the best GP I have ever dealt with. His caring nature is obvious and not false compassion. He listens to you concerns and takes every effort to resolve your issues. He has certainly given me the best and most complete care I have ever received. The surgery is run efficiently and patients are not just numbers. Well done Mike Donnan and thank you.
