I had a terrible experience with Dr temple, she didn’t listen to me or respect me. Tore me and my family down at at a time I needed building back up and I needed my families support- I felt she tried to put a wedge between us.

Dr Melanie Temple assessed me when k was on Kemp Unit, she provided a safe and compassionate environment whilst I began understanding my diagnosis. She helped me receive further treatment and support my trust in providing appropriate therapy. After being in various hospitals for 10+years, I have now living in the community for 3 years, I am receiving specialist therapy and have an excellent team around me. This process began with Dr Temple. I am achieving things I never thought possible only a few years ago, I have been stable for the last 2 years and I’m going to university. I cannot thank her enough.

I could talk freely and found Dr Temple non judgemental. I felt as though she was taking an interest. I was asked whether I ever had a partner. I didn’t understand the point of the question.
