I saw Maxine today. She spent so much time talking and explaining all my options. She is not like a consultant doctor more like a very knowledgeable friend. She does not make you feel inadequate one of the best experiences I have ever had in the medical profession.

I am very grateful to Dr Lissack for her care. I believe she pays forensic attention to the smallest of details which means patients can feel secure and confident in her treatment of them. In spite of the huge demands on her department her demeanour is always patient and kind. She explains any issues in layman terms and is sure to retest if any anomalies present themselves.

Dr Lissack is not only excellent at her job but she is genuinely caring towards her patients. Furthermore, she does not hesitate to pursue medical professionals in other areas in order to provide the best possible holistic service. In all my years of attending hospitals, I have come across consultants at both ends of the spectrum but Maxine Lissack is truly exceptional. A lovely person and a brilliant doctor. She got me through a particularly difficult period and has done so much for me ever since - not only for my physical well being but also for my peace of mind. Fantastic 5 star consultant! I owe my life to Maxine Lissack and her colleagues, I cannot thank her enough for my treatment after first being admitted to Barnet Hospital 28 May 2016. She was tenacious in the act of seeking a solution for my condition and acting upon it whereby treatment was followed up at UCH. My case has since been published in the British Medical Journal. I wish to reiterate my sincere gratitude to Maxine and the team for the successful treatment.
