Wish I had found Dr Kahn when I first had issues. He explains everything so well, is so thorough and has a lovely, engaging manner. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

In March 2022 I was diagnosed by Dr Kahn and Professor Stables with a Heart failure condition On 30th May 2022 Dr Kahn fitted me with a Cardiac Resynchronisation Device (CRT-D)? with Defibulator. I remained awake for the whole procedure during which I felt zero pain or discomfort. I was discharged the following day and other than a small amount of bleeding from the wound, which Dr Kahn stopped by managing my medication, I have also been totally pain free ever since. My pulse rate is now resting at 70 bpm and my fitness and exercise tolerance is better than I can remember for a number of years. I am being monitored by The Cardiac Implanted Devices Clinlc at LHCH and in in July 2022 and January 2023 I attended appointments where it was confirmed that everything the procedure was expected to do is in place and totally satisfactory. Compare this to a friend of mine in East Yorkshire who had the same procedure in May 2022 at a Harley Street Clinic and is even now in constant pain and discomfort with limited movement in her left arm. Apart from his surgical skills Dr Kahn is an excellent listener and communicator. He made me feel totally relaxed and confident about what he was going to do and what I should expect. I have the utmost respect and trust in Dr Mattew Khan

Nothing to improve here. Matthew Khan provided a very efficient and effective consultation setup by his secretaries Jane and Sara-Jane. Jane gave me some very timely advice to go to A&E due to chest pains. Sudsequently she arranged an evening appointmet to see Matthew . After examination Matthew took my wife and I though a diagnosis and treatment path. Within two days he had written to my GP to plot the way forward with my treatment and copied me into the communication. I've had a follow up conversation with his secretary Sara-Jane to outline next steps including a return to NHS care. Overall an outstanding process. Matthew provided us with reassurance and support. I wish to thank the three of them and would recomend them to family and friends. Trevor Stephenson

The service I received was better than outstanding. Doctor Kahn is impressive in every way, his manner , his caring and respect for others as well as his skills and experience. It has to be said that these qualities follow through in the rest of his team. Every single person we met were very helpful, sincere as well as professional. The team were aware that we had to travel approximately 300 miles (round trip) so they were very good and spending much time arranging suitable appointments and grouping tests etc to save on travelling time. Much appreciated. We met many staff who we can’t name but Sarah - Jane and Jane were extremely supportive. They responded to our questions and requests promptly , even at what I think may have been ‘out of office hours’. What was also very reassuring was that they took the time to phone me at home on occasions, to check I was ok . Jane and Sarah - Jane were very professional but kind and caring, put us at ease, very important when people are concerned. You are both very special people. Thank you. The other people we are able to name ,who work closely with Dr Kahn , providing excellent care were Dr Saagar Mahida, Rocio and Amik Tankk. One time we got lost looking for the ward and a cleaner came over to help and show us where to go . Whoever carries out customer care courses are doing a good job. The care we received does go beyond training though, Dr Kahn and his team are genuine people who care and just happen to provide a six star service The only suggestion I would like to make is provide a better quality of coffee in the waiting areas.
