Dr White brought me in to remedy the hernia that had troubled me. He was excellent with me and I am very grateful for everything that he and his team, including Nurse Debs, have done for me. Thank you all Roger McAdam

#sayThankYou

I would like to thank Dr White and his nursing staff for the care and attention I received whilst he operated to remove a squamous cell carcinoma. A great relief to have it removed, most appreciated and grateful.

Dr White and his team performed a vasectomy on me at Keswick in September 2018. The procedure was carried out in an highly professional way after a fairly brief consultation as there was no real issue regarding suitability of the vasectomy in my case. The treatment room at the hospital was bright, clean and well equipped. There was no discomfort at all. He was supported by two excellent nurses who provided reassurance. Pain free, fast and no infection problems afterwards. My only regret was not getting it done sooner.

Profile

Dr White is the clinical lead for CMS community surgery.
Since qualification from Dundee in 1999 he pursued surgery as his chosen career. After completing his MRCS and research he decided to change tack to General Practice always knowing he wanted to develop community surgery

Gradually over a 4 year period he has increased the portfolio of surgical procedures from vasectomies to minor hand surgery including carpal tunnel decompressions to abdominal wall hernia repair under local anaesthesia.

His interest in dermatological surgery continues to grow and he now offers a full range of skin procedures from simple excisions through to facial flaps and skin grafts all under local anaesthesia
