My friend referred me to see Dr Martin as she was working with him before. Dr Martin, respond to my email and gave me appointment straight away. He is one of the doctors who takes time and explain clearly to patient what is necessary. He is welcoming and very approachable. He is also sensible to patients needs, he directs you to treatment which is cost-effective and financially suitable for you. I am proud to be under his care.

I know Martin as both a colleague and a patient. He is a kind and compassionate doctor and completely approachable. He takes a holistic approach to his patients as experienced by myself and family members. His thorough approach is extremely comforting and I would have no issues with confidently recommending Martin to anyone requiring a brilliant GP.

Dr Saweirs is a very professional & understanding GP & helped me so much with a medical issue that I had. He was very caring, understanding & had plenty of time to undertsand & comprehend my illness. I would recommend him to any of my other work colleagues due to his professionalisium & excellence. Thank You Dr Saweirs & I will be sure to see you again in the future if the need arises again. He also does consultations via Skype & via cellphone also so he is very conveniant for any busy professional within the central london area which I why I also recommend him on top of his professionalisum. Thank You again Dr... Richard, The City.

I have been going to Dr Saweirs' surgery for a couple of years now and have never seen the same doctor twice. 8 months ago I went to the surgery with a stomach issue and was told it was nothing to be worried about. The symptoms did not disappear so I went back to the surgery to be seen by a different doctor. Long story short, Dr Saweirs was the fourth doctor I saw for the same issue. He listened to what I had to say, most importantly I felt like he understood my concerns, and gave his diagnosis and gave me a prescription for some pills. He then booked an appointment to see him a month later to see if my symptoms got better. This is the main reason I am writing this review. It's not how he makes you feel at ease, or how he explains everything so simply or how he really seems to care. It is that he intuitively understood my concerns about my symptoms and wanted to make me feel better and ease my mind. Dr Saweirs gave me lots of tests to clear my worries, blood tests etc and 6 months down the line I have no worries that I only suffer from IBS and not some other illness. Unfortunately he is moving practices as he really has been the best doctor I have had.

Response from Dr Martin Saweirs

I'm very glad that, not only things are better for your, but that you felt like you were listened to. I know from personal experience on the other side of the consulting room that there is little worse than feeling like you're not being taken seriously. Thanks again and I am really delighted to have been of help!

I went in (well, limped in, really) to see Dr Martin at his surgery last month following sudden back pain, and found him to be an extremely thoughtful and caring doctor - and, above all, genuinely helpful! He went through all my symptoms and did a thorough check - I've seen doctors before, even privately, who just seem to want to make the quickest, easiest diagnosis they can with the least work involved, but he was totally engaged. Even better, when he made his diagnosis (slipped disk), he actually explained exactly what was happening and how that was causing my various symtoms, why he was prescribing me the drugs AND he also was able to give me a referral to a physiotherapist and an MRI!! I was really worried that I would just be given the 'wait and see if it improves on its own', or, even worse, be shooed off as a time-waster, but Dr Martin could not have been more helpful. Listened carefully, investigated thoroughly and sent me away with a sound treatment plan - and peace of mind too! I'm happy to report 2 months later, my condition has much improved and the pain and numbness have almost totally gone. Thank you Dr Martin!!!
