Martin Johnson has been my named doctor for 23 years and though I have not seen him often on each occasion he has been thorough and his judgement between treatments is to be trusted. He is very good at explaining his diagnosis and telling me what I need to know to take decisions. He is ready to challenge medicines prescribed by hospitals upon discharge after surgery and is the ideal person to have as anchor man when I am being treated by different hospitals for different conditions.
At this stage of his career he does not need my commendation but unhesitatingly he has it.
