I presented with rectal bleeding and bowel discomfort and Mr Gwiggner was the first consultant to suggest this could be due to Ischemic Colitis. He put me at ease with his friendly and approachable manner which made the whole process a lot easier for me to go through and he came across as a doctor who actually cared for the wellbeing of his patient, and he always made time to listen to my concerns, which was not always the case with other consultants. I feel very fortunate to have come under his care during my three weeks in hospital (Aug 2015).
