I saw other great reviews for this doctor and I felt I wanted to confirm also. I wholeheartedly agree with them. It makes such a difference to be treated with kindness, compassion and understanding as a patient. Sadly not a default for GPs it would seem. Most importantly you never feel that Dr Widgery judges, he listens to what you say, and is rigorous in his approach. When doctors can exercise emotional intelligence and sensitivity it goes such a long way. Not least on outcomes I should think!

Where do I start, Mark Widgery is by far the best GP I had ever come across. He is caring and considerate, everything's a DR should be, but he is also so much more. He has sincere compassion, he listens to everything you say, he takes extra time if needed, even if he doesn't know the answer he will do everything he can to understand your problem and help! Honestly, without him I would not be the person I am today. He has helped me me on the most incredible journey. I will miss him, and all the staff at Deer Park. They truly go above and beyond

He is a good listener and a good doctor. He balances what is important from the unimportant Actually a brilliant GP. There should be mor elike him
