A “Consultation” with Dr. M Vanderpump - A complete waste of time and Money! Being disappointed with the treatment I was receiving from my GP, for my lazy thyroid, as I was still struggling, I decided to go privately. Dr Vanderpump’s credentials are second to none, but having furnished him with comprehensive medical details he did not give me any information or advice beyond what my GP & Gynaecologist had already told me, and that I was already considering. The issue of my Hashimoto’s was never addressed, further explorations to find my individual optimal levels of T3/T4 that I need to function well were not discussed, neither was a scan of my thyroid to ascertain its current condition. We had an hour’s chat with no action points at the end. BEWARE. The contract you are asked to sign basically states you will pay for Dr. Vanderpump’s time. not the quality of his input, which for me was NIL, Zilch, Nada, Zero. Oh, and if you don’t want to pay the full amount because you feel short changed, for not getting a “Proper consultation”, he does not talk to you, to try to help you, and resolve your issue, no he just instructs his debt collection agency. I hate being ripped off!!!
