I was a complete mess when I first presented myself to Dr Slaney, I had no idea what he could do for me. He was the first medical person to quickly and fully get a grip of the level of care I needed. The initial support was not only medical, he also clearly and concisely communicated with my employer carefully presenting their responsibilities. His much valued care continued for a time after and I will always appreciate his confidentiality, humour, experience, gentle advice, depth of knowledge and his appropriate use of power when dealing with aggressive employers. There was also strong support from the administrative staff and I always trusted and felt comfortable when contacting them.
