Dr Slade is caring for my elderly mother who has terminal lung cancer. He works at her pace and has helped her to understand what he is doing and what is happening with regards to the delivery of care and her condition and prognosis. In general we have found him warm and approachable and very kind. We are generally seen on time and during the consultation you do not feel rushed. Both my mother and myself would highly recommend him to others.

I presented to Dr Slade following a CT Scan at Cheltenham. Dr Slade was very professional in all aspects of the consultation and exchanged views clearly and without bias. The facts to date are that I have some nodes in my chest cavity or lungs that are of an undefined origin. I have lived and worked abroad in India,Zambia, Iran and Saudi Arabia and there is the possibility of a connection. I am due to undergo a biopsy if the node(s) can be reached easily and failing that I would be asked to go to either Bristol or Birmingham for keyhole surgery requiring an overnight stay. In a very short time from seeing my GP I have received first class consultation and the step by step approach will I am sure ensure that the causation of my symptoms will be diagnosed allowing for treatment to commence at the earliest opportunity Mike Edwards
