Upon my diagnosis of Lung Cancer Dr Slade treated me with complete honesty but was very gentle and patient. He was so reassuring and informative and I couldn't have asked for better care.

Sadly, my mum has just been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in the last week. Whilst we are only just coming to terms with the news, Dr Slade broke the news with compassion and care. Despite being faced with my long list of questions, he did not bawlk responding with patience and empathy making every effort to ensure I was fully informed. He has taken great care to explain complicated medical facts in simple ways. As my mum didn't feel physically well enough to attend a recent appointment, Dr Slade was amenable to having a telephone appointment. I have every confidence in the advice and care provided by Dr Slade.

Dr Slade was clear and kind in his ministrations and very conscientious without being overbearing or patronising. Would highly recommend to anyone unfortunate enough to require his help.

Very matter of factly, my Mother was sadly diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Treatment was not going to make any difference and the side effects of any treatment could have made her worse. Dr Mark Slade telephoned my Mother at her home and I happened to take the call. He came across as being so gentle and empathic to my Mother’s condition that I knew it would be beneficial to her to meet him. Following our meeting, I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Slade. He treated my Mother with a great deal of care and compassion and made her feel at ease. There was no rush with the session; it felt as though it was a private consultation. Dr Slade advised her on balance, medication and suggested a support group to assist her with the condition. He asked her how she felt in general and answered in full, all her questions. He showed a great deal of understanding and made her feel as if someone cared. In our view, anyone who is a patient of Dr Slade is very fortunate.

Dr Slade explained my test results to me and listened to how I felt regarding the medicine I'd been prescribed.
