Dr Pankhurst was biased and prejudiced towards me in many ways. She stigmatized me and used the past history that I have as a patient with a mental illness to treat me dar worse. She denied me access to fair treatment and only offered me poor treatment. She used my mental illness as a means to stigmatize me after I made a complaint about her colleague. She and her colleagues were very elitist towards me and treated me like dirt.

I am an elderly patient and have been seen by Dr. Pankhurst on numerous occasions. She is extremely thorough and follows up on what she finds. Recently, in conjunction with Dr. Stott they ordered tests for my heart which, it turns out, I needed an angiogram and stents inserted in my arteries. Without this care I would have been in imminent danger of a stroke or heart attack. It goes without saying that I am grateful for this her care and follow-through.

Dr Pankhurst has been my doctor for some years, and she has invariably been professional, sympathetic and helpful. She is thoughtful, diligent, organised and exceptionally reliable - a calm and good listener who takes a huge amount of trouble to understand one as whole human being rather than just a patient presenting with a specific issue, without ever being unnecessarily intrusive. She is exceptionally good at following up where it is needed, and in doing what she says she will do when she says she will do it. When I did have a less run-of-the-mill problem than previously - a gallstone - she was quick to diagnose, gave me sensible advice and, as ever, remained concerned and involved for as long as she needed to be. I strongly recommend her if you want a doctor who is approachable, committed, pleasant and who really has one's welfare at heart.

Dr. Pankhurst is kind and considerate and puts you at ease. However, I sometimes feel as though she has decided whether to take you seriously or not before you have been seen. One advantage of this doctor is that she speaks Spanish which is useful to me as a Spanish person.
