This consultant failed to listen to my many problems on every visit for over 2 years, leaving me super frustrated and suffering from panic attacks and social anxiety disorder. In the end, I refused to see him, there was no point of going. Considering this man is dealing with cancer patients he has no compassion or empathy for the many ways that this disease affects their life. My mental health has been severely affected by my the way this man and his team failed to address. Marcus Wise has now left the trust and I have an oncologist that listens, cares and explains everything for you, making you feel completely at ease with such a life-changing event. Dr Wise could do well to learn from Dr Hassan. I would advise anyone referred to ask for a different consultant. Cancer is a rocky road and you need someone who is going to support you, not undermine you!
