I had never met Dr. Thomas before when I needed to see a doctor urgently about a mental health crisis in the family. He was extremely generous with his time and gave clear, compassionate advice on how to proceed, and how to look after my own mental health in the circumstances. His encouragement and professional skill relieved a great deal of distress and I have no doubt that it avoided costly interventions beyond primary care. I am so grateful.
