Dr Harbord is very experienced in gastroenterology, reviews meticulously the results of you tests. He is also very clear and practical in his advice and has very good manners.

Dr Harbord is an exceptional doctor, He has taken excellent care of my father first removing cancerous polyps in 2005, and he has continued to care for my father for over 10 years, he has also taken care of my brother and also myself a few years ago, our family trusts him completely. He is calm, attentive, professional, very thorough, he is the very best in his field. My own wish - that other doctors were half as good as him. I can’t recommend him enough.

Nice guy and Im assuming he’s a good doctor because he holds such an important position at an NHS hospital but even as a private patient my appointment with him felt very rushed. He seemed distracted when I was with him and he didn’t seem to be listening. I came away not understanding what he’d said or really having much confidence that he’d listened. Maybe I caught him on a bad day and others had a better experience. Not sure I’d recommended him to nervous patients seeking someone calm and reassuring !
