I am currently working as a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Russell’s Hall Hospital, Dudley. I also holds the post for the Royal College tutor, Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in the School of Clinical and Experimental Medicine at the University of Birmingham Medical School and Associate Professor of Medicine for the St George's Medical College, Granada, West Indies. I did his medical training in India and have been in working in United Kingdom since 2001. I have completed my Respiratory training in the West Midlands in 2012 and Anaesthetic and Intensive Care training in Gloucester. Currently I cares for patients with a full range of respiratory and acute medical conditions. I also manage the Medical High Dependency Unit in the hospital (only one of its kinds in the Midlands). I am the lead physician for Non-invasive ventilation service in the hospital. My special interest is in Non-invasive Ventilation and Sleep disorder breathing. I also offers diagnostics; treatment and follow-up of patients with sleep disorder breathing. I can organise domiciliary diagnostics and treatment set up. I am the only physician in the west midlands to offer remote monitoring for the patients who are set up on CPAP treatment. This is the latest development in the service provision in world of sleep medicine. The service is not available for NHS yet anywhere in the country.
