I loved this surgery so much so that when i moved house i actually stayed with this surgery. However my experience today has now left me wondering if i did actually do the right thing. Ive had a bad cold since Oct & this was my 2nd visit following the docs advice to return if my symptoms didnt improve. However today i was told by the doc that i shouldve booked a double appt so as not to add to her stress levels & keep her other patients waiting. I never go to the doc unless i know im unwell. What exactly are we supposed to do whilst explaining your symptoms? Am i supposed to take a stopwatch with me & leave when it goes off?! I feel Doctors have no time for us anymore & dont really care anymore. Its no more than a conveyor belt in & out , dont ask questions, dont ask us more than 1 thing at a time & dont talk small talk as we dont have time. Thats what it feels like. Im disgusted. Ive worked all my life paid my taxes for what to be treated like this. There have been many times where I have been seen alot later than my appointment time but ive never complained. I feel let down & disappointed in this doctor at Orchard Road Surgery.
