I had been suffering from breathing problems which were initially diagnosed by another doctor and a heart specialist as being caused by Atrial Fibrillation (which tests had revealed). However, the problems continued and were only resolved some months later when I was seen for the 1st time by Dr Trubshaw, who checking my past records in detail, discovered that I had developed a pulmonary embolism some years before. She immediately arranged for further tests which showed extensive emboli in both lungs and in the associated arteries. These have been successfully treated with anti-coagulants etc. but I firmly believe that but for her thoroughness and speed of action the condition could have easily been life threatening. I can not recommend this lady highly enough.
