Dr Podichetty saw our autistic teen on a Sunday afternoon, listened carefully, diagnosed correctly (appendicitis) and speedily referred us to paediatric surgery via A&E, who operated without complications. She was friendly, efficient and calm. The NHS at its best! Thank you.
Dr Podichetty was absolitely brilliant, she is so genuine, cares deeply about how I am and will go out of her way to reach out to me, espeically when at a very low point in my life. Would highly recommend this doctor.
Dr Podichetty is very personable, unlike some doctors, she speaks to me as an equal, respecting who I am and trying hard to make suggestions about my health that feel realistic and reasonable for me. Thank you Dr Podichetty.
In my 2-3 interactions with Dr. Podichetty between 2013 to 2015, I did not have any good experiences. She was highly dismissive of my symptoms and was not a good listener. Does not inspire confidence in the patient or make them feel comfortable.
Maddy has been very considerate in her treatment of me. She listened carefully and clearly understands. Occasionally she might come across a bit brusque but often this seems due to her clear desire to get to the core of the problem. She has pushed me when I needed pushing but also just listened and accepted what I had to say when our opinions differed. She is professional and calm but also clearly caring.
I will miss her when she leaves Summertown Health Centre.
I've only ever seen this doctor if I've had to i.e. when no other doctors are available and I needed to see one. I wouldn't recommend her at all. She was incredibly rude. Didn't bother to listen to what I had to say and actually told me that I should only tell her about my one major symptom even though this was causing other symptoms! I think I would rather use the 111 services and take my chances with an out of hours GP!
