I have had two sets of treatments for my varicous veins with Dr Jones and both times the results were excellent. She and her assistant was going out of her way to make me feel comfortable. She seams to really enjoy her job and gives one great confidence in what she's doing. I've just been back for a fllow up treatment , or what I thought would be a follow up treatment. Dr Jones assessed the situation and helped me to come to the decision that a treatment at this point was not necessary or the effects would not equate to the amount of money spend. I was very grateful to her for being so honest and not just following a procedure for the sake of it. She managed to 'hold' my deposit for a future date, as I know at some point I will be back !

i consulted Dr Lyn Jones at the Vein Centre, Bristol for treatment of my varicose veins. At the initial appointment she scanned my legs very thoroughly and then told me exactly what she could do for me. More importantly, she also listened to me and answered my questions to her. She was very friendly, professional and caring and continued to be so during the procedure itself and then the follow up. At all times I was told precisely what was happening and she, and Nicky, made the whole process as pleasant as possible. I cannot speak too highly of all at the Vein Centre itself and Lyn Jones in particular.

Those of you who are of the 'older' generation will remember a TV crime show from the eighties called "The Gentle Touch". Well, the title of that show is a phrase that I am more than happy to say can be applied to Dr Lyn. Throughout my EVLA treatment she showed me what a caring and considerate doctor she is; nothing was too much trouble for her especially when explaining the intracacies of my treatment; and she was most apologetic if she thought that she was causing me pain. She even let me choose what music to listen to on the radio whilst I was having my treatment!. Should all go well post op then I shouldnt have to see Dr Lyn again which will be a shame. I would highly recommend her to anyone who would need to consult her for her specialist skills.

Dr Jones and Nikki at the Vein Centre Bristol were great. I was immediately put at ease on arrival. Dr Jones takes the time to explain everything really well and obviously wants a good outcome for you. I am so pleased with the results although I still have some bruising at the moment but it is still early days. My legs were never on show before but I'm looking forward to the summer now.

From the initial consultation to the follow up appointment, all was conducted in a very professional but friendly manner, which resulted in a relaxed experience for me as a patient. The bilateral EVLA & foam sclerotherapy treatments were fully explained (along with the pros & possible cons) and was relatively painless. I would highly recommend Dr Lyn Jones and her staff nurse Nicky Chappel if you are thinking of having varicose vein treatment. Thanks.
