I had to see her when my own psychiatrist was on leave and just thought she was hopeless. She lacked empathy and understanding. I was made to feel totally insignificant and felt frustrated and a bit angry when I left the appointment.

I had to change psychiatrists because she did not know how to relate to me.

If I thought that the health board would listen to me I would complain about her but who listens to mere patients? I don't understand the way she is with me, she hardly listens and is very forceful in her own views. No compassion or willingness to help me. I am at my wits end and my care co-ordinator is going to help me swap to someone else.

Dr Klenka, is a lovely person, who sits and listens to your thoughts and feelings ( Which many Dr's don't do). She has helped me overcome many challenges, and is quick to take the appropriate action when my mental health deteriorates. I have nothing but 100% confidence and trust in her as my Psychiatrist.

Dr Klenka is a fantastic psychiatrist. She listens, she will discuss your care plan with you, she is attentive and she is - above all - sympathetic to your needs. I think the negative reviews here are written by someone with an axe to grind, which is biased and unfair. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.
