My son was less than a week old and as a new parent I began to freak out and worry that something was wrong with my son's breathing. The surgery was great and booked my son in immediately even though he was not yet registered. Dr Akindele listened to my concerns, he was reassuring and professional and promptly checked my son over (although I'm sure he knew it was a new mum panic). Everything was ok but clearly I still looked worried, he went to great lengths to reassure me and even gave him another check over just to prove he was ok. Just the type of care you need with a newborn!

One of these new generation, target driven doctors it would seem. Putting targets before patient care. Suggested a family member of mine abruptly stop a medication that can have very bad withdrawal side effects after being taken for a prolonged period, if discontinued abruptly. Fortunately as a healthcare professional myself, I knew this and disaster was averted. Wouldn't touch this doctor with a barge pole.

Dr Akindele always listens to me with concern and respects my choices and views (I don't like vaccs). I would highly recommend seeing him.

I have only seen this doctor twice since I registered in 1989. On both occasions I found him disinterested and lacking in empathy. Also on both occasions after his prescribed treatment my condition deteriorated.

Dr Akindele is a really personable GP. He was systemic and meticulous when assessing what I was saying. Given the time restrictions on our GP's, Dr Akindele has been accurate in diagnosis and his advice and treatment has been incredibly sound. His obvious caring approach has been reassuring and I would, quite literally, trust him with my health. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others, I am so fortunate and privileged to have found a GP with such intelligence and understanding. In terms of any suggested improvements, I'm not sure I could give any, except 'please don't leave Farley Road!'
