Dr Liz Kingston made every bit of time she spent with me before the operation and at sedation to make me feel relaxed and calm. She took her time to explain the procedure to me to ease my mind. Walked me to theatre to have a little chat and inside the sedation room made me laugh. I was very scared but being with Dr Liz and the other staff absolutely was a great help to me. After the operation and when I was back in my room Dr Liz also came to see me again to tell me the after effects of the sedation and what I can and cannot do, She is a very lovely doctor and a credit to the hospital and the team.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback after your operation. I feel it is really important to make time to explain how I plan to look after my patient, and was glad to hear that the support offered helped you feel at ease for your surgery. I hope you are now recovering well and wish you the best for the future.

Thank you for leaving your kind feedback. I'm glad to hear the pre op phone call was helpful for you- I find it really useful to get to know my patients in advance of meeting them on the day of surgery, and it gives plenty of time to answer any queries or questions they might have. It's lovely to hear that you felt at ease during the care you received, and I hope you are now recovering well from your procedure.

Thank you for your feedback. I am a big believer in the importance of being present and available to my patients by talking to them throughout the time I am caring for them. It's lovely to hear it helped you feel relaxed and confident, and I hope this experience will help you feel relaxed for any future anaesthetics you may need. Wishing you well for your recovery journey.

Dr Liz Kingston and the team cared for us today at Whiston and we couldn’t fault anything they done from start to finish. We was the last elective section of the day, so had a lot of time sat round to worry and be nervous about what was happening. They very quickly helped us calm and settle into the birth and everything was so so relaxed and chilled throughout, setting my mind at ease. We really couldn’t of asked for anyone or a better team than what we had and the way they helped us throughout was faultless. We thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.

Thank you so much for providing feedback so soon, and with such lovely comments. It was a real pleasure caring for you today, and was a great way to wrap up the day's operating. I'm glad to hear you felt reassured and calm during the procedure, and hope it was a pleasant experience for you to remember in the future. Wishing you all the best with your new baby, and for your recovery after the delivery.

I was honestly a little bit blown away by the treatment I received from Dr Kingston. As an NHS patient I felt like I was receiving private health care. From the communication before my procedure (and throughout) to the time and care taken to inderstand my medical history, worries and concerns, I genuinely could not give any feedback on how you might improve things. Thank you so much for taking such great care of me. It made all the difference.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I get a huge amount of enjoyment from my work, and try hard to share as much information as I can with my patients to help them understand what is happening, how they can speak up for themselves and so they understand they are a vital part of the team too! I'm really happy to hear you got the information you needed, and felt listened to when discussing your concerns. I hope this experience of hospital care was a positive one for you and provides confidence for any future care you may need. Wishing you well for your ongoing recovery.
