The whole experience from start to finish was a total let down. We had great hopes we would get some help for our daughter with an anxiety issue. The availability of the Doctor was hit and miss as I believe she was going through some medical procedures herself so we had periods of several months where we couldn’t see her and almost had to start the process again. We were told we would get phone calls as my daughters conditions worsened and we were worried about the lack of contact from the doctor for so long and this didn’t happen. The regularity of the appointments was so infrequent they had no impact and we made no traction in actually dealing with the issues after 4 or 5 appointments because of this. When we went it felt like she was blagging her way through it as she herself couldn’t really remember where we were at with anything so hence the issue we came to see her about never really got tackled or even discussed in some meetings. I had to push for an outcome/diagnosis and a plan after spending nearly £2k with none of this. We eventually got a rushed report that came back to us which didn’t even mention the anxiety we had come to see her about ... not a single mention of it!!!! Totally gob smacked! In essence was told to read some self help books. Felt so let down and my daughters anxiety issues have gone on to get a lot worse over the last 12 months so I am now seeking help again.
