DR DAVID IS A VERY KIND AND CARING DOCTOR, WHO I FOUND TO BE VERY ATTENTIVE, AND SUPPORTIVE.

Very unsympathetic doctor. The phone consultation with me left me feeling like I was wasting his time. He did not listen, made lots of assumptions and spoke to me from a place of judgement and prejudice. I was left in tears, so you can imagine how great my experience was.

The experience with Dr David left me feeling shamed and very hurt. I am not going into any of the details, but it should suffice to say that I hardly contact my GP surgery and if I do is because I am in need. Dr David hardly listened, made assumptions and spoke to me from a place of prejudice. He was very unsympathetic and unhelpful. He said that calling the GP with my concern during the COVID pandemic was kind of wasting their time. He did not offer a video consultation to check the scary allergic reaction I had, and abruptly ended the call.

I was shocked to read the reviews written about Dr David. He has been my family doctor for many years and I have always found him attentive , an excellent astute diagnostician and funny. He went way beyond what I expected when my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer and visited immediately when there was a crisis. He is insightful and to the point so if you are expecting a gentle cosy chat then that is not his role. He focuses on problems and with his extensive experience has given me accurate diagnoses . When I was racing back from Cheltenham with an urgent mri with my husband, he stayed at the surgery way after it was officially closed to make sure we got to hospital that same evening. Shocking telephone consultation with one of the rudest, most uncaring GP attitudes I have ever personally encountered in a medical setting. Not wanting to divulge confidential medical details, suffice it to say that when I asked for his name at the end of the "consultation" he abruptly hang up the phone leaving me with no follow up and no other recourse but to change GP. NB In my previous experience, other Doctors at Lonsdale Medical Centre are NOT like Dr David, and, in the past, I have received an excellent service there.
