Had Dr Mahawish for a couple of years, however I’d always try and rearrange the appointment so I didn’t have to go! Not friendly at all, no conversation and makes you feel on edge all the time. She made me feel like I was being pushed into making a decision over my thyroid by saying I couldn’t stay on my medication all my life and would need either surgery or Radio Iodine Treatment! (It turns out I don’t need to make a decision at all and can stay on my meds). I had to ask to see another doctor as she was really upsetting me.

Cold and impersonal, just not interested and didn't do anything to address the problem of my high blood sugars in the morning which was why I went to see her. Had no idea about the timesulin cap and couldn't understand why someone who had been type 1 diabetic for 55 years could possibly be unsure if they'd just had their injection or not. I found her to be unhelpful and came out frustrated and upset. Very poor, especially when I've been used to seeing Dr. G Jones.

Wasnt really interested in listening to me even though I have had diabetes over 30 years,, I have fairly good control, I am not on any other medication other than insulin and I am also a nurse. She has no people skills and lacks empathy and compassion. She only wanted to focus on any negatives and had to ask her about my urine analysis, blood results and Hba1c, which were all good. I left the hospital deflated and upset. And yes my BP did return to normal when I checked it 2 hours later so probably won’t need hypertension medication just yet!

I had a strange feeling from the minute she called me from the waiting room. The appointment was 45 minutes late, she calls my name, doesn't even bother to see where I am and races back to her room. Once in the room, she couldn't careless about my wait, offered no apologies. She seemed toostuck up, looking at me as though I'm inferior to her. Basically a long story cut short, she fobbed me off, saying we'll do some more bloods. Strange character, no social skills, I don't think she knows that smiling is free. If you are that snobby why choose this as a professional. I would never ever want to be treated by a doctor like her.
