Dr Laurence Mynors-Wallis

I have been under this doctors care for 18 months. Not once has he considered any other treatment than socialising and getting out more - which for someone with Asperger's socialising is low on my list of interests. He thinks cannabis is the cause of all my problems when I had mental health problems long before I'd even heard of cannabis. He has not given me any coping techniques or took any of my problems on board. It has left us in a position where our (myself and my parents) only option was to make an official complaint. Low and behold I have an appointment with him and a psychologist! He is easily the worst mental health "professional" I have come across in 15 years. The appointment was delayed due to covid 19 but I will be asking for another psychiatrist as I have absolutely no faith in him at all. I would advise anyone else who is under his "care" or appointed him to do the same and request someone else.

I will not be seeing him again. While seemed like he may be a very nice person, I felt embarrassed, uncomfortable and like I was being 'pigeonholed' with regards to my mental health.
