polite, quietly spoken, explains why he is asking questions, is willing to answer questions without seeing it as a challenge to his authority, has very good time management so you know he will start your appointment on time, is open and honest about his views but ok with you disagreeing, is quite flexible and will do his best to give you appointments when you need them to the extent of coming to your home if necessary, non-defensive about advocates or friends/relatives attending if you want them to, open to considering your suggestions about medications and will go and research them thoroughly for you - you end up feeling he really is trying his best for you.
Sometimes seems a bit exhausted and 'far away' though he may just be thinking a lot about what you are saying.
