I was seen by this Dr on numerous occasions and found him to be quiet, disinterested and seemingly incapable of making a decision until crisis point was reached. Surely it is in the best interest of mental health services to keep patients out of hospital by providing adequate support in the community? This man is a dangerous professional in my opinion based more upon his omissions than his actions but certainly would benefit from further training. It is interesting that some psychiatrists in the same trust have amazing reviews on here but the two in the North Tyneside East teams in Whitley bay and North Shields have 100% scathing patient reviews... This therefore leads us to believe that it is not a reflection of psychiatry as a profession which encourages bad reviews as I feel sure Dr Kale and Dr Armstrong are telling themselves but a reflection on their professionalism.

not the best psych out there by a long shot, hes very quiet and struggles to make simple decisions. i dont feel very comfortable talking to him and i struggle to understand what he means sometimes, hes not very clear. i think he gives everyone the same diagnosis, he needs to expand more on things so people get a more accurate diagnosis. there are a lot better psych's out there, i think he is quite inexperienced.

I was under the care of Dr Kedar Kale for 2 years at North Tyneside East CMHT. During this period I received absolutely no treatment or medication for my personality disorder. He does not think that personality are real mental illnesses, neither do his colleagues. I was refused medication that would benefit me and not allowed access to talking therapies. He was also more than happy to lie to me on one occasion. I believe he does not have his patients best interests at heart.
