I qualified from the University of Leeds Medical School in 1994. I studied a broad range of hospital specialties after qualifying and then became passionate about primary care. I have been a GP since 1998 and am fortunate to work within a superb team at Tadcaster Medical Centre. I hope to empower patients by helping them understand and manage their conditions. It is important to me to provide individualised patient focused care which can be challenging in the current NHS climate. I am married, with 4-children. My interests include running, cycling, swimming and the odd sprint triathlon.
