I find it difficult to share other people's enthusiasm for this doctor. If you have mental health issues you should seek another doctor because she demonstrated no understanding, empathy or willingness to listen. She used a 'straw man' argument to say why I should come off all my medications, despite the fact that my psychiatrist had insisted I stay on them. I found this power trip rather worrying because this can destabilise the mentally vulnerable. She berated me for seeing too many doctors when in three years I had only seen two (at the time I worked half the week in Birmingham, and it was not always possible to see my regular doctor). For every reasonable statement I made she had an unreasonable reply. I left the surgery feeling deflated and angry. I would rather remain ill than see this doctor again.
