I always feel in safe hands when seeing Doctor's at Hampton Wick Surgery but always feel so well cared for by Dr Moore, she has a wonderful way of explaining health problems in such a clear and understanding way.

Big thumbs up to Hampton Wick Surgery! I'm a new patient and was immediately impressed by the level of good patient communication they observe. While waiting on the phone for it to be answered by the Reception staff I was kept informed by an automated voice system of where I was in the queue. Not that impressive you might think but it is when you come from a practice where the phone rings off the hook and you invariably give up and go in person to get an appointment. When my call was answered I was efficiently and swiftly given an appointment, was happy to wait for Dr Moore as it was a topic I wanted her opinion on, having researched on line which Doc would be best. I said to the receptionist that I hoped id be done in my ten minute appointment slot but should I make a double appointment in case I was longer. Rather than being told "we don't do double appointments, if you run over you'll have to come back another day" I was assured that Dr Moore was great at dealing with several queries in one appointment time and if I did go over the time not to worry! These are small things but they make a massive difference to how the patient feels about and views their care. I work in the NHS and see from my work and as a patient myself that we are prepared to forget and forgive a lot in the system if we are kept informed of how that system is running! Simple first line communication is so often overlooked and it really is key. When I did see Dr Moore she immediately 'got' my situation and was kind in her clinical suggestions, but allowed me to voice my health concerns. I didn't run over ..... Very pleased after 20 years I finally changed GP's and quite expect that any further appointments I will need will be as positive as this first one!

Dr Moore Is a traditional common sense doctor that has the time and listening skills to create a doctor patient relationship that is rare in many of today's surgeries. While the surgery itself could do with some improved admin the patient care is very good. Dr Moore is supported by excellent nurses. Other Doctors in here own surgery could learn much from her "bed side manner" - she will willing to take time and explain the here and now as well as the possibilities of the future. Thank you

this doctor showed me great attention was kind and friendly / treated me with respect listened too ME talked about my symptoms and explained the results of tests i had had and assured me of the results and took time with me I did,nt feel rushed,she is a first class Doctor and so are her colleges I must say I get this treatment with every doctor I see there they are an excellent group of Doctors even those Doctors that are training there they must be set/given some excellent guide lines on how to treat us patients because its always excellent service . I feel it appropriate to also name the other Doctors that i have seen at the practice who have also given me excellent service they are Dr O'Flynn, Dr Pattel ,Dr Aktah these doctors have shown me that I mean something to them and that they care, its a great practice even down to the reception staff, My Regards Mervyn Taylor
