Dr McElroy saw me as a consultant psychiatrist at Auchinlea CMHT whilst covering psychiatry posts. I found her to be a great psychiatrist who really listens to her patients, she considers psychosocial factors that might be impacting their conditions (employment, debt, social care, etc) and she will do her upmost to help her patients and consider their needs holistically. The only bad thing about Dr McElroy was leaving to join another team, our loss is someone else's gain and I am sure she will continue providing her patients with outstanding care! :) GE
