Dr Partington gave me a steroid injection for an ongoing problem with my shoulder which I had been seen for in the same clinic about 4 months earlier. She took time to review the history carefully and showed me on screen how the previous treatment had removed the calcification in the shoulder. She confirmed that I still had a problem and made sure I could see on the ultrasound where the problem area was and explained why it was still causing pain. In administering the injection she made sure I was comfortable and happy and the injection itself was very successful. If I need another injection like this, I hope Dr Partington is on duty as she clearly is very knowledgable doctor but is also a very likeable person.
