My mother who is 83 years old had COVID and few falls at home before taken into King George hospital by the emergency ambulance. We were told that she may have to be taken to out of London hospital due to overcrowding in majority of London hospitals. However, we were lucky that she has been taken to King George. She waited over 3 hours in the ambulance and then again another 40 hours in the emergency before admitted into a ward. She was admitted at the Holly ward and put under the most helpful and highly professional specialist Dr Niranjan’s care. My mum was so lucky to have Dr Niranjan as her consultant. Dr Niranjan has carried out all the necessary examinations and treated my mother as necessary and saved her life. Dr Niranjan kept her professionalism and sense of humanity and spend beyond her working hours and regularly updated us about my mum’s condition and how she was progressing. That updates given us the confidence that she is under real professionals’ care and will get better and soon return to home. My mum returned home after 13 days of hospitalisation.
