I was originally seen by Prof Bhatia in 2014 and he initially came across as arrogant, chauvinistic and full of himself, who labelled a neurological disease as something that ‘was all in my head’ and he would get me walking within 6mnths. This I must say did not happen. I was admitted at NHNN and he was not there and was out of the country in Dubai for months. This certainly shaped an opinion. However, when I saw him again in 2016, my opinion had dramatically changed. He was very caring, understanding, explained everything in detail and for a neurological disease that 'was all in my head even' thought surgery was key. He had much better attitude this time round and a leading eminent neurologist like Prof Bhatia, I felt in exceptionally good hands this time round.
