My son and I am indebted to the exceptional care and support Dr Jutta and her team provided and are continuing to provide our son at Great Ormond Street hospital. We was kept well informed of the diagnosis and treatment plan which was carried out efficiently with great care. My son’s health was very poor upon admission as a result of the condition he was inflicted -but from the time he was admitted at Luton and Dunstable hospital until the time he was admitted on Bumblebee ward the Gastro team at GOSH ensured our son received the best care, support, and medical advice. Our son is making a remarkable recovery on the treatment Dr Jutta has him on. The IBD team had created a medical chart app for us to keep in regular touch with our Son’s medical consultant and team when need be. As overwhelming and upsetting it was and is to learn our son has been diagnosed with Crohn’s at such a young age - We trust and feel our son is in very good care to be able to still live a healthy normal life with the right care, support and treatment.

One of the worst doctors i have had my child seen by. Dr kogleimer dieticians questioned us about a letter our gp wrote to the hospital. Her dietician was expecting us to advocate for another health professional, and was asking us to advocate about our GPS decision to intervene in our child's treatment at gosh. Were then subject to sneering and mocking glances from Drkogleimer and her dietician during the appointment. So not sure if they were reacting in a negative way to our GPS input for our child.

Our child had an appointment with gastroenterologist Dr Koglmeier. Before this our child was seen by one of the Children s dieticians. We were asked to advocate on behalf of our gp who had to write to Ormond street because our child had not been seen by a dietician for over 18 months, despite the fact that he then had a severe eating disorder which was part of a definitive medical diagnosis. We were questioned by Dr kilometer dietician as to why the go wrote to them about the 18 months absence of dietician input from Ormond street. We told them that Ormond street were concerned or otherwise with the GPS recommendations that they should take the matter up with the GPS directly as this is the most appropriate way, and not to have us as parents drawn in to and been asked to advocate for another health professional . When we then saw Dr Koglmeier we were subject to mocking facial gestures towards us and and Dr Koglmeier exchanging mocking glances with her dietician toards us.I do not know if all of these behaviours were due to the fact that we enlisted our GPS help for our child, and Ormond Street reacted to this in a negative way.The fact remains though that our go in his clinical and professional opinion deemed that Ormond street were not fulfilling dietician input when they should have been doing so.
