The doctor came across as uninterested, generally despondent, didn’t offer much advise or help. I was made to feel like I was wasting her time.

Told me one thing but wrote another on my record. I recorded it on my phone.

Unreasonable and ill mannered I requested a repeat prescription and since they refuse to give me more than 4 weeks’ supply, I asked for 2 months’ supply as I’m going on holiday for 3 weeks in one month’s time. My request was ignored and I was given only 1 month without any explanation. So arrogant that the courtesy of a response is not deemed necessary. Is it really necessary to be so discourteous? I queried it and was told I should request the next issue while on holiday. They literally expected me to find internet access in a remote camping location in order to request the next prescription and then somehow identify and find transport ( I cannot drive due to seizures) to a pharmacy in the nearest town. This is objectively unreasonable. Who needs this kind of stress and inconvenience while on holiday? Eventually they relented and I was begrudgingly given a 2 month supply. Ironically the same GP previously refused to prescribe medication for chronic and debilitating migraines (which would only have been needed on an ad hoc basis) and was then instructed by the consultant to issue this controlled drug instead which needs to be taken daily for life.
