My experience with consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon Mr V.K.Wagh was great since the very first day I met him when I was referred by my General practitioner due to both eyes cataracts. My vision had deteriorated. I could not see due to my eyes being cloudy but when I met Mr Wagh reassured that he was able to improve my vision. He agreed that we start operating the right eye and I was really scarred but he explained the procedure of the operation and gave me informed consent the pros and cons about the operation . When the right eye was operated cataract was out i recovered very quick following checkups It was very successful. I attended his clinics when he wasrunning late because the clinic was busy, he could apologise and inform you the situation which made me know what to expect. He could listen to my concerns because I was a student nurse and gave me time as I had exams and assignments which needed to be completed.We agreed a operation date for the left eye but due to COVID - 19 I was put on a waiting list.l then told them that I have finished my nursing course I was waiting to start a job. I received a letter that they are able to operate the left eye. The care I received in the operating theatre was excellent and I recovered very quick. My vision of both eyes right now are excellent I feel I do not need eye correcting glasses.I feel confident with my vision and as a newly qualified nurse to my new job I am confident with my eye sight and able to work excellent at easy.Mr Wagh is great he give me time to ask all burning questions without rush answered all questions using simple language which I could understand. I trusted him because I felt listened to and I was satisfied with his care. I would totally recommend him to other people for his care.Thank you Mr Wagh and team, I really appreciate all your hard work.
