Doctor Hood was an acquired taste, but she knew her work extremely well. She is Dutch and straight talking. There were plenty of weirdoes on her list of local patients, and some of the reception staff sought to undermine her credibility with unprofessional and sniping remarks. I can understand how this would have made anyone irate at times.
I wish Doctor Hood a long and happy retirement in France.
