I arrived at an alarmingly quick consclusion that Dr Polla was an excelent cardiologist when I met him for the first time at Whiston Hospital on Merseyside. He demonstrated outstanding listening to the patient skills, took a measured and analytical historic research approach to my complicated history spanning from birth (I was born with congential aortic valve heart disease) replacement valve 18 years ago but suffered a recent out of hospital cardiac arrest for unkown reasons. I discovered only recently he is no longer at whiston and moved to pastures new ! but will do all I can to try and find him because to me its important I can rely on trust, measured knowlege and always gave a sence of reasurance. I was very impressed as for probably all the years (30 +) I have had cardiac consultations most were 1 way in conversation. Mr Polla shows great respect for anybody who demonstrates a true own personal knowlege of their own condition. D

Excellent Dr, doesn't give up without a fight, cares about his patients - Not much more to add, basically says it all. After treating me this year, hope he had a great Vacation in Mexico.
