Dr Kovoor listens carefully to what I say and asks follow up questions to clarify the issues of concern. He is very supportive in sorting out the issues. He is very thorough . He follows up matters including liaising with my consultant. He does what he says he will do. I always feel he is going to be helpful and efficient. I am delighted that he is my doctor. He is an excellent practitioner.

I have received wholly empathetic and constructive care from Dr Kovoor on every occasion that he has called me for a telephone consultation. He has responded with immediate efficacy to each of my health issues and to that end my health I feel is improving thanks to his guidance and assistance. It makes such a difference to know how well a doctor can listen , understand and take the most appropriate action whilst allowing and encouraging a patient to feel that they can maintain ' self governance ' - at the same time. The telephone ' ring back ' service has been invaluable to me at my surgery who I have been with for 22 years. I would highly recommend Dr Kovoor for any medical matter. Dr Josh is easily the best doctor I have come across in my 37 years. Joshua was temporarily working at my local doctors practice so we had never met or spoken before. Josh explained in clear detail over the phone what the issues I may possibly be facing were. Josh left no stone unturned in going through every possibility with me. Not only was it very easy to understand, but I felt very genuinely cared about from the human as well as scientific perspective. This was then substantiated when, by chance the very next day, I’d gone to a hospital in the centre of the city for a scan, the doctor that met me was in fact Joshua. I recognized his name straight away and after a minute or so told him that we’d spoken the day before. In spite of how many people he must deal with in a day, he very quickly remembered our chat the day before, and he was very pleased we met in person. He was diligent and ultra professional in looking after me that day. Again, I received great care and reassurance that I’d be ok (which I was). Following this, the very next week, true to his word, once back at my local doctor’s practice, Dr Joshua called me to follow up. It felt like having a friend looking after you! The mix of soft human skills and extensive knowledge of his field, I couldn’t have been more blessed to have met Josh. The medication I was prescribed by Josh worked brilliantly and he showed a true care about the lifestyle changes I had made to benefit me, in addition to being very honest with me in ensuring I didn't over worry, and just kept practicing a healthy lifestyle. I was soon in good health after his work. Hands down I’d recommend him to anyone. An incredibly good experience! Thank you Josh! Simon

Visiting the Grove Road Surgery today, I had an appointment with a new doctor called Dr Joshua Koovor, who was compassionate, understanding and most importantly listened to his patients. Also I was complaining of a splinter in my finger, which he removed immediately. Thank you for giving wonderful care.
